So glad he is home - we have 3 cats ourselves and panic if we do not see them during the day.

For a couple of years we had a 'visitor cat' whom we nicknamed Bill who spent a lot of time in our garden and frequently came in the cat flap and helped himself to dry food. He looked well cared for so we never actively fed him, but were happy to give him shelter during bad weather. However for the last year we have not seen Bill so assumed that his family had moved or he adopted some one else.

Such great news about Cheetah! I was one of the people who came across him the night he went missing but couldn't take him in due to my own two cats and it's been breaking my heart everyday seeming the posters still up and wishing I could have done more. Made my day today to hear he's back and fit and well. And what a beautiful photo of him in his basket. So so very happy for you and for him :)

Aw Rutheep. I remember talking to you - you said he followed you down Lacon Road, is that right? I'm sorry you felt bad after that, but you had no idea he was missing at that point and neither did we!! But he's back now and it's all fab. Jacqui x

Hi Kirsty. We were just talking about you when we got him back. Your little visiting tabby was so like him, just a bit smaller. Thanks for being so nice when we came round. Jacqui x

I also want to thank the unbelievably kind people (and there were quite a few) who helped put posters up for us and post flyers. You know who you are. And of course, the person who found him (or rather he found her, begging for food at her door!!!) and sent us photos. Cheetah seems very chilled today and blissfully unaware of the 'whirlwind' he caused. Jacqui x
Really glad to hear he is back home safe and sound, we keep seeing your posters for him and nosing around whenever we hear a meow we don't recognise around Goose Green. Saw the poster near the Co-Op last night when it was cold and a bit wet and felt sad for all the missing kitty cats around the area, what great news for you both!

    • A huge thank you to Julian Richards for fitting our custom wardrobes in two of our bedrooms, we are so happy with the results, they really feel a 'part of the room', super integrated with the space. Julian was a joy to work with, extremely helpful talking through the various options to help make decisions around the look and feel of the wardrobes vs the storage space, and approaches the build in a very methodically and logical manner, ensuring all our needs are taken into account to deliver a space that works for us and our lives. An excellent carpenter and a pleasure to have in the house. I highly recommend working with Julian!
    • Yes - and this is a good thing because meeting housing targets is a good thing. If Labour or any other party had managed to do it consistently over the last decade perhaps we wouldn't be in a housing crisis. I'm not sure if "don't build more housing because it's only rich foreigners that will end up living there" is official Lib Dem policy or not.
    • Does anyone know of anywhere local where I can hire a large shredder? The new Library of Things in the Leisure Centre doesn't presently have one, apparently because they are in the process of getting new improved  ones. I would have preferred to use them, but I  need to dispose of a very large amount of stuff,  and I don't want to wait indefinitely. There's too much of it to dispose of by other methods, like soaking in the bath, and anyway I want to recycle it once it's shredded.
