Jakido
HelloHas anyone ever owned / used a travel car seat suitable for 4 yr olds and above that can be packed up to put in luggage? I'm trying to avoid having to use hire car company ones cos they're a rip off. Thanks in advance. alex_b
We just take ours with us. We have a massive padded/armoured bag (Clek Weelee) it fits in and check it in with our luggage. Pretty much every airline (even easyjet and ryanair) lets you check a car seat and pushchair for free. We do have a mifold booster as well, but this is really only for short taxi journeys; it's better than nothing but it's nowhere near as good as a proper seat/high sided booster. For a holiday where we have a hire car we're happier to have our usual car seat. Mrs D
We use a booster seat/cushion called bubblebum. Not a car seat though... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/206446-travel-car-seats-any-ideas/#findComment-1284670 Share on other sites
goldilocks
bubblebums can be used for age 4 and up. They're amazing - small enough to go in hand luggage when not inflated. Fit all 3 point belts Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/206446-travel-car-seats-any-ideas/#findComment-1284789 Share on other sites
chrismar
We bought a secondhand Boostapak on here and it?s one of the best kids? equipment pieces we?ve bought. Doubles as a bag. Easy to bring on a plane. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/206446-travel-car-seats-any-ideas/#findComment-1286885 Share on other sites
