Stalls galore with delicious food, drink, Santa's grotto, 'elfridges' stall where kids can buy adults gifts at low prices, bottle tombola, raffle, 100 boards and games galore! ALL WELCOME 12-3pm, Etherow Street off Barry Road near the top of Lordship Lane (close to The Plough and Dulwich Library) -
It was looking very faded and not a patch on how it looked originally. I’d have preferred to see it re-done but seeing as that’s no longer an option, another mural would look good there. -
I really enjoyed the play at the National Theatre Nye (Bevan) about the politician and the establishment of the NHS. He had to seriously compromise including some element of the private sector, GP practices, pharmacies being independent businesses, and consultants keeping on private work The days that a working class person from the valleys can be on the Cabinet are all but gone. But even then he was an outlier
