Wild Woman Workshop - Saturday 3rd November 2018

Recommended Posts

A whole day workshop for Women. Creative Explorations in body and voice for women exploring myths and legends of the WILD WOMAN. Harness the raw energy of the Wild Woman for your own well being, empowerment, fun, freedom and expression. Are you ready to meet yourself in all your colours, to speak your dearest truths, discover and unlock trapped energy within your body and spirit?

I will guide you on a journey to discover the raw energy of your Wild Woman through visualisations, movement, dance, sounding and singing. Once tapped into we can explore how to use them to sharpen our focus, clarity, help decision making from a greater place of authentic truth and power.

These are empowering, beautiful days full of courage and play; suffused with ritual, healing and ceremony in celebration of the divine feminine experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The day will include guided vocal and physical warm ups, group work, movement, free dance, sharing circles, singing simple folk songs, guided visualisations, writing responses and time to share and reflect in confidence with a circle of supportive women.

It is a space to dive into your fullness as a woman and be all you are without judgement or comparison. Suitable for all women, you really don?t need to be an ?artist? or ?performer? to attend they are for all women. We meet in confidence to journey together in sacred circle as a sisterhood.

Led by actress, singer, theatre maker and healer Lewis Barfoot.

COST

?60 per day - maximum of 10 participants per workshop'Archetypal patterns can help us shed light on the dark and little known corners of our souls and amplify our brilliance" Caroline Myss

DATES

Saturday 4th November

10.30-5.30pm

If you have done a workshop before you are very welcome to return to explore the same archetype with a different group of women. Like any embodied practise, the more we lean into it, the more we explore and the more we practise, the deeper the layers of understanding to be gained. Whilst being therapeutic they are not therapy.

    • It wasn't a rumour, the salon had closed when I posted here. Regarding the Post Office, as I said go and ask them.
    • My annoyance Is with the fact that the gym is being closed for 5 weeks for refurbishment but we dont have an option to freeze our membership if the only facility we use is the gym. Apparently Peckham gym is closed at the same time for refurbishment which I think is pretty stupid. Therefore the nearest gym for all the members from ED leisure centre and Peckham leisurecentre is the one in Camberwell . I lament the everyone active days..at least I could attend gyms near to work and outside Southwark
