Electronics repair - boiler thermostat

I have a feeling that people like this may no longer exist but thought I'd give it a try. One of the battery contacts in our wireless wall thermostat snapped off and I thought I'd see if there was anyone who could solder a replacement contact on (or something that would do the job). It was working until this happened so I'm hopeful it could be made to work again.

It's a Worcester DT20RF transmitter and apparently they're 140 quid to replace so repair would be worth doing!

I can't help you with a repair but if you search ebay then you'll find them (new) for far less than ?140.

There's a second hand one that is currently at ?10.40 (but I guess likely to go higher)).
