Solasta: The Goose Is Out! The Ivy House,40 Stuart Road, SE15 3BE. Thursday 11 October**Floorspots welcome** ?7 on the door.7PM

We think Solasta are going places! Their new album, " A Cure for The Curious" is The Guardian Folk album of the month at the moment and described as "Fizzingly good new-generation folk".

Solasta supported Jackie Oates at the Goose a while ago, and we are delighted to be welcoming them back to the Goose as a headliner in their own right!

Solasta play dynamic interpretations of Celtic based material rooted firmly in tradition, incorporating elements from diverse musical worlds including classical, jazz and early music ? hooray!

?Solasta gave one of the most exhilarating and enchanting performances we have ever had?.breathtakingly good, consummate young musicians with true flair and imagination? ?

Sheena Wellington, Patron of the Traditional Music Association of Scotland.

    • It wasn't a rumour, the salon had closed when I posted here. Regarding the Post Office, as I said go and ask them.
    • My annoyance Is with the fact that the gym is being closed for 5 weeks for refurbishment but we dont have an option to freeze our membership if the only facility we use is the gym. Apparently Peckham gym is closed at the same time for refurbishment which I think is pretty stupid. Therefore the nearest gym for all the members from ED leisure centre and Peckham leisurecentre is the one in Camberwell . I lament the everyone active days..at least I could attend gyms near to work and outside Southwark
