posted again as a new thread, to provide all details in one place..


RH Wakefield hand-built 24 inch frame with 531 tubing, double-butted


Tange Falcon headset; Sakae Ringyo chainset; Suntour block; Suntour/ Shimano changers; DB braze-on cantilevered brakes


Last ridden regularly 20 years ago; kept dry under cover since then.


Tyres need replacing; needs TLC to restore to use


My bike has a 24 inch frame. An 22 inch frame example in concours condition is shown on the Classic Lightweights website which states that these bikes were hand-built built by R.H.Wakefield in his shop at 59 London Road, Tooting/Mitcham, London SW17 during the period 1950 - 1965

There are some superb examples of similar bikes on the Cicli Artigianali website but I am not expecting such extreme prices!
