Pregnant? Want more support than NHS can offer, before or after baby comes?

I'm a local Mum, practicing Midwife, ED NCT teacher and a member of Neighbourhood Midwives. We are private midwives supporting women in our local communities. We can do all the antenatal care that your NHS community midwife offers (plus some extra appointments), but our appointments are usually around an hour, in your home (or other place of your choice) and at a time to suit you. We can help you with your decision process antenatally, attend you in labour if you wish - whether at home or in hospital - and can visit you for up to 6 weeks after the birth (or two if you prefer) to support your adjustment to life with baby - again our postnatal visits are usually for at least one hour and often 2 in the early days. If you just want the post birth support and not the before/ labour stuff then we can offer that too. If you're considering investigating more support than the NHS can offer - especially if you don't have family nearby or in a position to be helpful - then please consider getting in touch. Our aim is to build a supportive relationship of trust with you throughout our time together, to help you transition with confidence through pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal weeks.

If you'd like to know more, please take a look at our website: http://www.neighbourhoodmidwives.org.uk or you can call us on 020 8874 6624 for more information.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Your neighbourhood Midwife.
