New years eve in ED...any thoughts?

It's that dreaded time of year again of trying to decide what to do for new years eve!

Does anyone know of any good events that are being planned in any of the local pubs at all? I spent the end of last nye night at the Magdala...which pretty much did the job (ie. cheap to get in, had a bit of dancing, everyone seemed suitably happy and smashed and i could walk home!)

so, I was hoping for something similar this year...any ideas?
