As others have mentioned, the Overground from FH/HOP is the quickest way from ED to get there on public transport and only ?1.30 (?1.40 peak) single on Oyster. Jeremy
If people are going to FH/HOP for the overground, does that mean they live within walking distance, or using the car/bus? StraferJack
I go to FH a fair bit and am down Goose Green end - it's really not that big a deal to get a bus there... pretty quick and several on the route Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/20256-getting-to-westfield-stratford/page/2/#findComment-495847 Share on other sites
Jeremy
Oh, I know it's not a big deal to get there. I just find it hard to believe that a bus to FH followed by Overground is quicker than just getting on the train to London Bridge. But then, I know that a lot of ED is not very close to ED station, either. Each to their own, I guess. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/20256-getting-to-westfield-stratford/page/2/#findComment-495901 Share on other sites

StraferJack
The overground/tube connection at LB isn't ideal either - it's a bit of a schlep Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/20256-getting-to-westfield-stratford/page/2/#findComment-495909 Share on other sites

i*Rate
By the way folks, I believe good old Mary Portas' company 'Yellow Door'did a lot of work on Westfield at Shepherds Bush. You know her; the one on TV showing us all how to look after and rejuvenate small local shops that are sooo important to the community! A world away from that hell hole in west London.Cheers.
