fishbiscuits
"Pour over"! hahaha.... "caffeine fiends everywhere have the Japanese to thank for this method of coffee making magic"... what a load of tripe! It never ceases to amaze me how people are able to constantly reinvent and re-badge something as simple as coffee. It is really no different to filter/drip coffee. Only real difference is the quality of the coffee... freshly ground, and maybe even freshly roasted will of course make your coffee taste much better. Anything other than that is just hipster nonsense. Seabag
I made ?pour over? with a sock whilst on holiday in ItalyI?d taken some very good (?23 a kilo) Monmouth coffee with me and neglecting to pack my Aero Press I was somewhat stumped.I did have a pair of new fresh Muji trainer socks with me, so took an empty water bottle, cut the top off, inverted the top to make a drixpper cone and lined it neatly with the sock.It made a fine ?pour over? and a surprisingly bright & well filtered one at that.Next series I ?ll be going into the Dragons Den to offer 1% of my ?SocKoffee? brand for a million quid.
