Tutor: qualified english teacher and 1st class history grad

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am looking to take on new clients, having recently moved to the area. Keen to tutor history, politics, English and Spanish at A-level and GCSE, and geography and religious studies at GCSE.

I'm a qualified English teacher (QTS Outstanding) and history graduate (1st class University of Bristol). In terms of tutoring, English would obviously be my specialism and I have a full working knowledge of AQA and Edexcel as well as iGCSE. I have lots of experience tutoring students both abroad and in the UK and now manage the intervention for year 10 and year 11 students in my current school.

Can also offer help with literacy and writing as well as guidance with UCAS, having been a 6th form tutor.

    • Maybe they have changed the system, or maybe I've just forgotten how it works. Mine was installed as a one off after I requested it (having worked out that it would save money). Yes, it would seem odd for Thames Water to install a meter which wasn't requested,  but then not to communicate anything at all to the house occupants, especially if neighbours in the same road said they didn't have a meter! I'm wondering what TW said to EDmummy101 when she contacted them?
    • "Vegetarians won't miss out as there will also be a radish & egg mayo milk bun on offer too." It's a meat shop so I suppose don't expect too much.
    • Anyone got one to sell?
    • The two most likely reasons for over-turning would either be  speed or loading related (possibly both). A burst tyre at just the wrong time (during a turn) might also cause this, but I think these lorries have doubled-up tyres. [The photo shows the tyres intact, so it won't be that] The other main reason for large vehicles over-turning (caught by wind) is unlikely on this occasion.
