Counselling and Psychotherapy

Recommended Posts

I am a counsellor and psychotherapist with experience working with trauma, bereavement, anxiety and depression. I strongly believe that talking to a counsellor in a non-judgemental, safe and confidential atmosphere where you can be genuinely listened to and understood is an important step to begin to gain some insight into yourself. You can then become more aware of your choices and therefore start to enable a process of personal growth to deal with life in a more effective and fulfilling way.

I have been working for mental health charities for the past 5 years, in a GP surgery and I am also an honorary psychotherapist at the South London & Maudsley Hospital (SLAM).

I am at the end of a BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) accredited MSc and I have already completed the Post-Graduate Diploma stage of the training. I am able to offer at concession rates both time limited and focused interventions as well as open ended therapy to deal with more deep-seated issues. To arrange a consultation email me at [email protected].

    • Oh dear. Sadly I had a disappointing meal on Saturday night. I should have read Malumbu's review above before I ordered. I thought I'd have a dosa for a change. Our meal arrived very quickly. However the dosa was more like a thick and very soggy pancake. The filling was fine. The sambar (sp?) was fine. The chutneys were not what I was expecting, and had a consistency more like sauces.  That might be my lack of knowledge of South Indian food, but I would have expected the coconut chutney to at least taste a bit like coconut. I left most of the actual dosa. My OH said his aubergine curry was delicious. I don't know whether the problem was that the dosa got soggy due to being wrapped in foil to be delivered, but tbh it didn't look like it had ever been a thin crispy dosa 😥 as I have always had in the past  at South Indian restaurants.
