However that is how our political system works, doesn't matter how many vote (it is their choice to vote or not to vote) it is the percentage of those that actually bothered to vote that counts..

And the Local Lab Councillors!

Three people telling other forumites to move and leave this thread alone. Surely the best way to let the thread die is not to contribute at all. If you feel it's no longer relevant to this section then ask the Administrator to move it but leave others that still want to discuss aspects of this highly charged issue alone.

    • Keen to hear people’s recent experiences of applying to Southwark council for a dropped kerb. We are buying a house in the area and are extremely hopeful of getting one. It doesn’t 100% meet the council’s guidance (space wise the frontage is just short of the minimum length required between house and pavement) but other houses on the street already have a dropped kerb with the same space and, my reading of the guidance, is that the various factors are only factors that ‘may’ prevent the application from being successful. Also, is anyone here able to say how long they will take to carry out the initial feasibility survey?
    • This is what i've been doing. About 1 Delivery a week in Crystal Palace Road. They always say they've checked and 'no issues in the area'. Absolute b0llocks. I say to them check again. Next stop writing to CEO.  Utter shambles.
    • He’s talking about me mal   but me being me, if I had views that were thick or racist I wouldnt post them either - because yknow   Embaaaaarasing but if I had views that weren’t thick or racist I would post them - because yknow, what would be the problem ? so, QED..: Because if I was JUST calling people thick or racist when they weren’t, then other people would call me out.  Right? Because that’s how it works  but the only people so far who are getting all precious…
