Siduhe
I was looking for something on Southwark Council's site and came across a consultation re Peckham Rye Park which closes in 4 days. On a brief review the proposals involve putting in similar flood prevention measures as have gone into Dulwich Park (raised mounds and ditches to hold rain), a series of other "environmental improvements" in some less used areas of the park, new seasonal planting and some information boards. You can comment using the online survey - https://consultations.southwark.gov.uk/environment-leisure/lost-peck/Definitely worth a look if you are a user of the park. Earl Aelfheah
"Peckham area is at a relatively higher risk of surface water flooding"...They'd be better off ceasing the approval of drop curbs and stop encouraging the paving over front gardens Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/200866-southwark-consultation-on-flood-alleviation-in-peckham-rye-parkcommon/#findComment-1270312 Share on other sites
