Despite wasting millions of pounds annually on purely cosmetic and unnecessary road "improvements", some bean counting jobsworth at Southwark Council has had the brilliant idea of saving a few pounds by no longer funding the magnificent display of flowers which has graced the DP entrance here and has given so much pleasure for many,many years. Can our elected councillors not save us from such miserable parsimony?

Are you sure they are not funding it?

I haven't been past there lately, but if it isn't presently planted up, could it not be just a change from Summer to Winter bedding, or something similar?
