I have to get to barking on wednesday morning

Any ideas of the quickest way to get to Barking Station from East Dulwich by public transport??

Overground from Forest Hill to Whitechapel, then District line to Barking.

Husband used to do this. Train to London Bridge, jubilee to West Ham - try to then get C2C as this is quick or failing that get the district line to Barking. If you don't have to leave from East Dulwich you could get overland from New cross/new cross gate/brockley/honor oak to whitechapel and get on district line. Apparently husband and friend have timed several options and these were the quickest.

Yip Andicam - that's good too (according to husband sitting by side. He also said the London Bridge one is a bit slower - more walking)!

Andicam's way will be quickest. Anna's way is fine, but Jubilee can be difficult to squeeze on to at Canada Water!

Overground is amazing and quick but crowded! you can do that trip in 40 mins at weekend.
