I work in Newham, Plaistow actually, and Green Street would be a great place to buy a Sari. I have bought a couple of sarees from there. The childrens' ones were not at all expensive, and they do lovely salwar kameezes (apologies for spelling. I think Whitechapel and Bethnal Green are good too. Not sure of south London - possibly East Street Market.... Good luck - lovely idea.

No doubt your little girl will look cute in her sari, but what has a sari to do with BHM, do blacks wear saris too?

    • My neighbours cat has, been missing since easter Friday, from oxenford street. The back garden backs onto rear gardens of oglander road. She didn't know the cat got out till Friday night. She has never been out before and is a very nervous 2 year old little cat. She has only had her 2 months, sadly not neutered or chipped which will be dealt with if she gets her back. One of my other neighbours told me a, fox and cat was, having a fight Friday night, which is really concerning as I have not seen cat but from photos she looks very slim and delicate so I'm hoping she isn't injured or worse. Please keep a look out for her. I've attached the only 2 photos she has of her, cats name is pixie. Thank you.
