wanted - Alternative practitioner for eczema remedies

Since January I've had chronic eczema on my arms which then spread all over my body. I've seen countless GPs and finally got an appointment with a dermatology consultant at Kings who prescribed a 6 week course of steroids (prednisolone)but I'm concerned about possible side effects so first would like to talk to alternative practitioners who may be able to help. Any recommendations from anyone who has had a similar complaint?

The Grove Vale Practice used to have someone who practiced in that area. I don't know whether she is still there - give them a call. And I hope you get it resolved soon. I used to have it around my hairline and ears and took to consuming lots of flax seed oil for it. It worked a treat for me but then mine wasn't anywhere near as bad as your sounds. I hope you get it resolved soon - apart from the obvious irritation and unsightliness, I know it can make one feel quite miserable.

Minitoots, how alternative are you willing to go?

Because I know somebody who may be able to help, but it's very out there.

Chinese herbs, but you may have to wait a couple of months to see a result, however it'll last, steroids are really bad for you.
