bee74
Just wondering if they are any good. I used a simple blanket with son, but thought I might something like this a try if worth it... LillyD
Try a miracle blanket - its amazing. I was given another swaddle type thing and it was useless but this one really did work. kapaxiana
I have the miracle blanket which my daughter loves then i tried the swaddle pod because i thought it would be cooler for the summer days and she screamed until i took it off. Perhaps if you use it from the start it might work but because my daughter could still move her arms it didn't work for us. canadianlisa
I used the one you are asking about and found it really good, very easy swaddling and nice jersey material. My daughter loved being swaddled and I started using it after she kept unravelling from the a normal blanket. telemum
Another vote for the miracle blanket. Though dd1 needed swaddling for so long I had to cut a hole for her feet. Is really really good though Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19923-has-anyone-tried-a-swaddle-pod-type-thing/#findComment-480497 Share on other sites

alieh
Bee74 - I have a miracle blanket and other swaddle type products you can borrow. Not using them anymore as my little newborn is now 7 months somehow! cmacnew
We used a swaddle pod with our son and it was handy for stopping that Moro reflex (which kept waking him up). From about 6 weeks he fought to get his arms out a lot and we ended up using it with arms out, which kind of defeats the point. He was able to get his hands to his face, which comforted him and didn't wave his arms about quite so much though.
