steveo
Top of Court Lane. He breaks in through the cat flap, eats all my cat's food and then generously sprays all over the house. He is young, he is a boy, he is blacker than the Kiwi rugby team and he stinks. He has to be stopped. If you know him or his owners, please have a word or he'll end up in a brown bin. Peckhampam
electronic cat flaps are good too. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19881-evil-black-cat/#findComment-479702 Share on other sites
Earl Aelfheah
If you're putting him in the bin I recommend filming it and then posting the video on you tube. People will find it hilarious and there will definitely not be any adverse reaction. Pickle
We used to have a problem with other cats coming in and spraying/eating our cat's food - we got a microchip operated catflap, well worth the money. Pickle
:) I only wish that our cat were that smart! You set them up by shoving the microchipped cat through it, and it registers the chip. Then when they come up to the door to get in it reads their chip and opens. This is the one we have:http://www.sureflap.co.uk/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19881-evil-black-cat/#findComment-479707 Share on other sites

steveo
Thirty quid for a chip, seventy five quid for a cat flap. Someone to fit it. I could get a cat hating staff cheaper Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19881-evil-black-cat/#findComment-479748 Share on other sites
Guest
I had a similar problem and took to keeping a jug of water by the back door and chucking it at the offending cat each time it appeared in my garden. Only took a couple of goes before it got the message and started avoiding me, my door and garden. Andrew1011
I had a similar problem with (non-evil) hungry feline visitors so I had an electromagnetic catflap fitted last weekend. So far so good. Zebedee Tring
I wouldn't recommend putting the cat in a brown bin, otherwise you may well end up as a national pariah like Fred the Shred. And if you were prosecuted, you could well go daaahn. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19881-evil-black-cat/#findComment-479783 Share on other sites

Although I'd probably need a wood chipper for a cat that size Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19881-evil-black-cat/#findComment-479831 Share on other sites
Salsaboy
You need to freeze them before they go through the shredder otherwise all you end up with is a load of mush spraying back at you.Or so I've heard. ilondoner
Body parts are not allowed in brown bins, they are for food waste only. Bin men will refuse to dispose of body parts and you could end up facing prosecution. The courts have been advised to show no mercy to those who flout recycling rules. Saila
i'm still having a real problem with our local evil black cat (named FANG) oglander/copleston roadswe have tried *everything*he bulldozes through the 'smart' cat flaps.we have taken to blocking the cat flat with a heavy wooden table to stop the b*gger getting inalso asked cat charities for cages (with hope to capture and neuter it) but they just pass you from pillar to post or promise you a cat trap and never get back in touch :(our cat is now a forced in door cat.
