woodstock
Does anyone know if there is anywhere one can recycle batteries? I saw on this forum that there used to be a mobile recycling centre at Sainsburys at Dog Kennel Hill but the thread suggests that it has not returned. OutOfFocus
https://www.gov.uk/battery-waste-supplier-reponsibilities tells you who must take batteries. So anywhere selling a moderate number of batteries OUGHT to take them----You must offer free collection (?takeback?) of waste or used batteries if you sell or supply 32kg or more of portable batteries per year. One pack of 4 AA batteries per day equals about 32kg per year.Follow link for more info Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/198795-battery-recycling/#findComment-1265567 Share on other sites
Flux capacitor
Tesco recycle batteries. However I do believe that all shops should make an effort to recycle batteries.
