I've noticed a few intrepid runners in our midst. How about getting a group of ED Forum runners together and running 10km in May? All levels of fitness very welcome. www.dulwichrun.co.uk

Fastest runner wins JAGS sports club membership and fastest veteran (40+) wins fancy running shoes from Up and Running. There is also a luxury weekend away up for grabs. Register on Dulwich Run

Train with a purpose, support a local event, wear matching ED Forum tee shirts and raise some money for charity. Perfect.

Reluctant runner,

Unlike Tuesday mornings, I am up for this - having sold my soul and chaffed the nipples to the point of destinction in the last 2 years' Nike 'run london' corporate jog-a-brand-a-?30forashittyt-shirt-a-buyanipodandourtrainersplease-a-thon, this is certainly welcome news.

Run for your dinner and run like a winner!

cheers,

joe

    • Hi!  Our just 4 year old is currently taking swimming classes with Cindy’s swim school and we’re finding them a bit too easy and hands on. On holiday recently she swam (albeit without much style!) at least 8m on her own.     We’re thinking of signing her up to the improvers lessons at JAGS.  I believe there are up to 10 children per class and two teachers in the water.  Has anyone had any experience of these classes? Do they encourage independent swimming? thank you 🙏
    • Odd post.  London continues to be full of green and public space.  Labour kicked off the creation of a massive new park with revived and cleaner waterways in East London. Perhaps a mountain hut in Montana off grid may be more suitable for your needs, running water, timber, deer, a lifetimes supply of shotgun pellets, and hunting knives will do you fine.
