I regularly go to the post office for sending things that need a signature/tracked service- so not sure what the alternative is. The Lordship Lane branch frequently has long queues which suggests it is an essential service. -

There was of course the rumour put out that the hairdresser next door had closed because of the LTN which turned out to be totally unfounded, the salon is still going strong. Is this another rumour you're starting? -
