Gardener/Landscaper required for levelling garden

Hi,

I was about to have my garden levelled out and astro laid, I had a quote and work arranged but the person has suddenly left the country for 2 months and can no longer do the works. Can you help? Need to have experience of doing the below works please as I have had bad experience with an inexperienced fence fitter before:

THE BRIEF: Create a 2 -tier garden using sleepers as soil retention and lay with an artificial grass, resetting some of the fence panels.

THE WORK:

*supply and fit approx 12x 2.4m sleepers along LH boundary and across centre of lawn to delineate the 2 tier. Sleepers to be fixed with steel stakes drilled through the centre

*skim off grass from the lawn and dispose of. Level the soil to create the 2 tiers, removing any excess soil.

*supply and lay approx 8 tonnes of ballast over the soil. Beat the ballast with wacker plate to flatten and compact

*supply and lay approx 4 tonnes of sand over ballast to provide drainage, beat sand with wacker plate to flatten.

*supply and lay approx 50m2 of artificial grass to the 2 areas. Supply and fit joining tape to make up the 5m width of the garden, stretch and fix with metal staples

*supply and fit approx 8x new gravel boards to the base of fence on LH side of garden to cover up holes made by change of level

*detatch 4x fence panels from 2x posts, dig out 2x posts and create holes for new posts. Supply and fit 2x new 75x75mm posts set it postcrete. Reattach fence panels.

Works to take approx 9-10 working days based on 8am-5pm.

If you can help please can you dm me quotes and availability. Looking to get the work done yesterday!

    • There's been a spate of phone snatching around East Dulwich station and along Lordship Lane. But don't let that put you off the area, these things come and go. I've never had an issue late at night in the areas you talk about and I've been around here for 18yrs (before I moved I had the same concerns as you). Go visit your areas late at night at different times for your own peace of mind (I did)
    • Posted September 20, 202Hello all Hello all Just a quick message to say I've just had a job postponed so I have some time available to do some work for you if you should need a painter around the end of the month. I also do a variety of other jobs too so if anyone needs a handyman, please feel free to get in touch. Happy to do a free quote. Thanks for reading
    • So sorry to hear this. Our bike was stolen from outside Dulwich Library earlier this month. We had a D Lock and they still got through. Probably the same person who’s just cruising up and down the lane. I hope you find it.
    • Hi, I would like to raise some awareness around East Dulwich especially on Lordship lane.  Today my bike electric bike was stolen from in front of my house between the hours of 9:00 and 10:45. If anyone see anything I would be very grateful.  Please do not use a chain lock to lock your bike. Preferably a d-lock. My bike was double locked with two chains and they still manage to take it. Be careful and be aware of Thief.  Here are some pictures of my bike. If you see or hear anything I would really appreciate it.
