Family holiday recommendations

Hi

I'm looking for recommendations for a family holiday for my two kids (12 and 9), my husband (with broken leg) and myself. It has to be in the UK due to the leg breakage. I'd like somewhere that has activities that the kids can go off on their own to, decent accommodation and somewhere that my husband and I can relax. I guess a bit like Centre Parcs, but maybe a little nicer.

Any suggestions?

Have you looked at any of the Luxury Family Hotels group. Longleat and Marwell zoo also have onsite accommodations.

Have a look at the westbay club on the Isle of Wight. It's paired back and simple but a fair amount of stuff to do (sports mainly) for the kids.
