Creme de cassis locally?

Has anyone by any chance seen this on sale locally at a sensible price? Sainsbury's has it online but not in the shop and the posh wine shop in DV has it but for an eye-watering ?18.99.

Grateful for any local sightings.

I have definitely seen it in Sainsburys, M&S, and Aldi.

Thanks. Definitely not in Sainsbury's at the moment as I tried again today but will give M&S a go. Aldi"s a bit far for me.

M&S is ?8 for a 35cl bottle, not much less eye-watering than the posh wine shop! I haven't bought any this year yet but last year Tesco was doing a very acceptable own brand one for ?8 (I think) for a half litre.

Thanks, RH. Found some just now in Oddbins (?15.79) and Cave de Bruno (?19.99) but as I'm clearly a cheapskate I'll have to wait till I'm passing a Waitrose or big Tesco.

Yes, Lidl had their French week last week & it was on sale for around ?5.99, I think and there was quite a lot of it in the store.

I always come home from Lidl with bags full of stuff I never knew I wanted. Granola bars, enormous bags of chocolate covered nuts, or some turron. A bottle of blue curacao or amaretto. Sometimes an angle grinder or socket set.

Me too! It's all about the specials at Lidl. I love checking out the poster before I go in to see what the next week's theme's going to be.

That's why I stopped going to Lidl :))

It was worse than going to IKEA :))
