Hi there,

We are considering moving our child from Dulwich Hamlet to Heber School. Nothing drastic but just not sure Hamlet is the right ?fit? for our son?s character and Heber seems a little more smaller and supportive. But we dont know anyone with any kids in Year 3.

If you have a child in Year 3 there I would love to hear from you and what your thoughts are on the school and teachers.

Many thanks!

Hi Annie, I don't have any first hand experience of Heber so apologies if this is irrelevant, but if it's small and supportive that you are after, have you looked at Harris, just around the corner? It currently only goes up to Yr 3, with small classes, amazing results and their whole ethos is incredibly nurturing.

    • I think one of the organiser's marketing lines for the event describes the festival as 'nestled' in the park- clearly having the trees and park as a backdrop is viewed as a major selling point.
    • It may be good to check the meter is not malfunctioning; this can happen. Equally there may be a slow leak. If TW were sure metering would reduce your bills- I think there is some kind of comparison transition period, where they get a sense of how much water you actually use- then I'd think it is worth checking.
