Ha ha. I suspect that John's irrational behaviour stems from the (somewhat Yorkshire) conviction that 'art' is 'rubbish'.

I don't see why he should see the books. It's none of his business. Who appointed him to be social auditor?

John, mate, if you truly think that an empty parking lot is preferable to hundreds of people having a good time, then 'curmudgeon' is an inadequate word. Get thee back to your dusty shelves ;-)

Curmudgeon is right! It's wonderful to see people being imaginative and creative, and enriching our community - Bold Tendencies has been a revelation.

That's funny, because I fail to see how spinning shopping trolley handles is art. Energy? Place was dead when I went there to see what this middle class invasion was all about. Community? Now you are really taking the mick. In your efforts to promote "community", you managed to alienate everyone local - not just with your patronising art gallery but with the thumping "music" you decided to impose on people living in the area. I came close to calling the police on one of the nights. You have no connection to the community here, you're just a bunch of middle class twats wanting to look all modern by going to the sort of area mummy and daddy warned you about.

The local community doesn't want you here, take your art somewhere else.

No of course you wouldn't know about the loud music you inconsiderate twat, you don't live around here. It just went on and on.

    • Earlier tonight, around 10pm (Monday 22 April), I saw a bright, small fireball come straight down from the sky and seemingly land in the near distance. I’d estimate it landed somewhere around Beauval Road/Lordship Lane/Goodrich/Landcroft Rd or thereabouts.  Googling meteorites I also discovered tonight was due to be the height of the Lyrid meteor shower over UK. Did anyone else see anything/capture it on door cams/ dash cams? Or better still find the meterorite?!
