katie1997
How about this (btw, I have just made it up, so its untested):Its based on my favourite dessert, essentially pears, vanilla and chocolate otherwise known as Pear Belle Helene and a variation on that classic cocktail, bellini.EDF Autumn Cocktail fans, I give you the Pear Belle Helleni -Splash of Poire William liqueur topped up with prosecco in a long glass, vanilla sugar rim. With a slice of pear and some chocolate dusted or crystallised almonds on the side. Or maybe a vanilla pod. Its still a work in progress :-S Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19428-whats-a-good-cocktail-for-autumn/page/2/#findComment-473153 Share on other sites

KidKruger
I usually do a Bourbon Sour (below) this time of year, but some of the suggestions above for alternate sours are intruiging and I'll have to try making them.2x measure Bourbon1x measure lemon juice2/3 measure Gomme syrup (sugar)1/2 desert spoon egg white (optional)dash of Angostura bitters (optional)- shake on ice, pour on ice, short tumbler is about right for choice of glass.
