After the council spent so much time, money and effort on the mural and matching bins on Forest Hill Road, i'm angry that someone is using it as their own personal dumping ground. Most of us are very happy and proud of the improvement to our area, lets face it, the old sub-station was a bit of an eye sore. I just think its a real shame that some inconsiderate people are making it an eye sore again.

Shame that electricity sub station can;t be placed under ground.

It original dimensions would have been required to support electric switch gear. Such switch gear is now a fractino of the size and burying it would be quite feasible.

We'd then have a mini public square.

Me too.

I love it! Well done Southwark Council for having the vision to do this. But what has happened to the bollards further up the hill? They are looking fantastic too but they are still only half painted. I think this may have been a guerilla artist and not the council, but I am wondering why they have not been finished?? Anyone know??

I have viewed the bollards whilst stuck at the lights Dunstans Rd Forest Hill Rd junction..

It would seem to me that a a few people must of decended at night for a quick spray for a bit of a laugh.

They have not been carefully painted. Just a prank. No real harm done. but would be better if more colour

co-ordinated of themed.

Not a Banksy but a Pranksy

Fox.

    • I had a leaky toilet cistern and Niko came out the same day and not only fixed the leak but thoroughly cleaned off the years of calcium build-up. His attention to detail was matched by his kind humanity. The result was a completely renovated toilet which has never worked more efficiently as well as 'service with a smile'. MANY THANKS NIKO!!!

    • "You have no idea why"   To be fair Sue, it's blindingly obvious to anyone who has a conversation with anyone who isn't a Corbyn supporter. And even some who liked Corbyn (like me initially) found him somewhat flaky even at his most popular But let's say you are right and I have NO idea why anybody might not vote for him. They still didn't vote for him. He lost two elections. The second one badly (and strongly predicted but the stubborn old goat wouldn't budge so we we were stuck with Johnson and another 3 million PMs in the 5 years that followed) So even with ZERO evidence, we have our eyes and ears and brains But we do have evidence   https://yougov.co.uk/politics/articles/27022-their-own-words-why-voters-abandoned-labour
