Apologies if this has been done recently, I did a search but couldn't find a thread with any tips.

I'm 33 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby and he/she has been head up for ages. Aside from it being very uncomfortable (!) am getting a bit worried that it will stay that way! Very keen not to have a c-section for various reasons. I've looked at the spinning babies website but wondered if anyone has any advice re positions to assume and things to do!

Reassurance from people whose babies turned late is welcome too! I'm probably being paranoid but my daughter was head down from 28 weeks and can't help comparing...

Thanks!

Seb was head down from 20wks, but lex was transverse for the entire pregnacy. Was covinced she would never turn but she did at 36wks! Head down, completley engaged. For all the good it did...

Best friend is 34wks with her second, he's breech too. I think breech/oblique/transverse babies second time around are so so so common. Spinning babies website is excellent though, i'd give their tricks a go!!

Btw, I keep seeing you everywhere- goose green, sainsburys, but always in a manic dash so never say hello :/

Hi Crystal7, I know you are worried about breech but it doesn't have to end with a c section, many people have

normal deliveries. I can understand recent recommendations are advising c sections but the choice is still yours.

There is still time for baby to turn, my son turned later in pregnancy, while I was using a flotation tank.

Good luck.

Youngest snowboarder turned v late too - about 35/36 weeks from breech/transverse. I tried the spinning babies positions..but...well, not easy when 33weeks preggers!!

So no real good advice except for as above - second babies seem to hang about a bit in terms of positioning themselves....

There was a concern that Pickle was breech, though it turned out he was just pretending. I went swimming (lots of handstands, looking ridiculous), had acupuncture and moxibustion (which definitely did something, Pickle wriggled loads, and spent lots of time at home with my bum in the air (see looking ridiculous). Went for a scan and he was head down.

Well today baby C7 was head down according to the midwife- hopefully s/he will stay like that. Thanks for all your tips!

Some of the positions suggested in the spinning babies site are incredibly difficult- anyone tried the ironing board one?? Not sure I could do that pre pregnancy!

    • maybe u should speak to some of the kids parents who are constantly mugged who can’t get a police officer to investigate and tell them to stick to gb news, such a childish righteousness comment for your self  All jokes aside there is young kids constantly getting mugged in our area, there is masked bike riders going around armed with knife’s, all I’m saying is police resources could be better used, police wont use there resources to respond to car theft but will happily knock on someone’s door for hurtful comments on the internet which should have us all thinking 🤔
    • I recommend you stick to GB News following that last comment.  Hate crime is still a crime.  We all think that we know best.
