green bean
Have been down the NHS route and thinking I'd like a second opinion just to put my mind at ease. Diagnosis is an accessory navicular bone (extra bit of bone just below the ankle - apparently it runs in families but no known relatives have it!), not currently symptomatic (& may never be). NHS podiatrist advice was "just come back if it hurts", but I'd like a longer appointment (and second opinion) to discuss what 'steps' (!) my daughter can take to try and prevent it causing any issues further down the line... nickysydenham
You could try Peter Gauntlett of Lewisham Foot Health. @ Mindbody therapy in Forest Hill SE23 1BX. www.lewishamfoothealth.comI recently went with a foot issue and was surprised to have a little scan done on a toe there and then. Definitely deals with kids also.
