Helen GV
I've done most of the days, all of the nights, the colic, the nappies, the feeding and cleaning, and my little girl (12m) takes her first unaided step AND says her first word in the space of a day, when I am out of the room.Moan over. I am super proud, it's just that her daddy keeps reminding me... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19257-wheres-the-justice/ Share on other sites
jawatts
Why is her dad being so mean and unkind. She will do lots of things when he is out of the room,I bet you would not crow about it. Is he jealous that you are at home with her when he is working? It may be that this makes him unkind to you. intexasatthe moment
Long time ago at the one o clock club a lovely child minder told me that she wasn't going to tell the mother that the child had said it's first word ,she wanted the mum to have that pleasure . Saffron
I'm sure the parenting handbooks all say that whoever hears the first word gets the poohy nappies for the rest of the day. And whoever sees the first steps has to vaccuum and do laundry for the rest of the week. ;-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19257-wheres-the-justice/#findComment-470028 Share on other sites
Helen GV
I think cyanide is detectable..Like your idea Saffron, don't like my chances though. Would have to be law!First word was 'more'! Just after we had served the cake so takes after me at least :))And that childminder is a saint!there were other witnesses too so I can't even pretend he was lying...
