Hello!

We run bespoke radio parties for children locally.

We offer two different party packages:

1. Radio Drama - script, perform and broadcast your very own live radio play. In groups, the children work together to write a short radio play, experiment with DIY sound effects, practice in our pop-up recording studio on the microphones and then take it in turns to broadcast their live plays with parents and the other groups listening in to the radio elsewhere.

2. Our second party offer is a live talk radio show - this is usually for a smaller group of children (9 max) but we're fairly flexible and can adapt the party ideas to suit a larger group. The party goers will get working on planning and pre-recording their features for a radio show (subject/theme of your choosing), and we finish off the party with the hosts producing and presenting the live talk show - could be split into two radio subteams.

All plays/radio shows are also recorded and we mix them together post-event so that you have a digital keepsake of the party :)

More details about our parties and other audio/podcast workshops that we run can be found on our website: http://www.wordplayeducation.co.uk/parties/

All the best,

Zoe & Leon

    • Dog licenses were abolished in 1987. Before Britain changed to decimal currency they cost 7 shillings and 6 pence which became 37p. They were scrapped as they were unenforceable and cost more to collect than they raised.
    • This was posted last Saturday by Jb. "No the collections were separate, although both funds transferred to his brother, Asif. You could pop in and speak to his brother if you wanted more details but I believe they plan to fund a well in Africa. Thanks if you donated, the brothers were very grateful and touched."
    • it would seem very likely that they are trying it on if it their area - ie not a responsibility of the freehold. The freehold would cover the building structure (walls, foundation, roof) - possibly freeholder would have responsibility for the front door - if so, does the freeholder have the windows? Usually grey area in a lease so you could look at past instances - who has paid for window replacement, front door to be painted etc?
    • Thanks for these comments. Very helpful. The porch and hallway shows on their lease plan but we share the freehold together.
