Thinking of investing in one.

Baby happiest in main seat and toddler likes the back seat but also likes to walk.... Would be ideal if we could use a buggy board in addition to having the two seats. If however the lascal only works when doubles kit not attached then it's probably not a good purchase as toddler not yet old enough to just rely on board. lascal website claims both the lascal maxi and mini fit the Vibe, but doesn't specify if that's with the doubles kit or not.

Anyone know?

What I'd worry most about is being able to reach the handle bar as the buggy board would have to be quite far back with the doubles kit attached. Do you have L or I in the top seat, i.e. are you doing it as prescribed or are you doing what lots of parents with walking kids do - have the baby in the front seat and have the toddler climb into and out of the back seat (umm... without strapping them in for short rides) whenever convenient? The latter is almost the same as having a buggy board.
From my memories of pushing a Vibe around the streets of ED, I'd say it would be very difficult to manage with a buggy board attached. If you've already got your little girl in the bottom seat I'm not sure what you'd gain by using a buggy board too?

I tend to have I in the main seat and L underneath.

I've recently swapped them over for nursery drop off's and pick ups. Have problems with I on the way home as she is generally tired, grumpy and wants to walk. It would take forever to let her walk all the way home (@ 1 mile) but she doesnt understand that and if I pop her back in the bottom seat she gets upset. I was thinking maybe a buggy board would work in this situation as it's more like scooting (which she likes). Don't really want to lose the second seat though as she isn't really old enough for a buggy board to be a more permanent solution.

L much happier in the main seat too, so a buggy board, if feasible could work well.

Clare I saw someone yesterday with a buggy board and double p&t so it's definitely possible.but it looked very very uncomfortable.the mum was really arching to reach the handle.guess it depends on your height and child's.this one was older than yours.probably best to try before investing if you can.

Clare, it's possible as I know a childminder who does this but as Nikki said, v umcomfortable.

I'm so sure there is a specialized p&t buggy board that is online, like a skateboard or scooter, though. I saw something about it posted on Here when I first started posting...

Yep mountain buggy do something called a freerider (scooter turned buggyboard) and do Phil and teds adaptors - BUT I'm pretty sure they don't do one for the vibe - just the explorer and verve. Super expensive too. There is a pic on Phil and teds Facebook page of a regular buggy board attached to a verve I think - looks ok.

    • @NewWave that’s a good idea!! Someone cannot book well in advance to cancel regularly . They should monitor that.  Also I didn’t know you can book two weeks in advance. I was not aware of it. It’s even  more frustrating now because I used to book regularly without any problem a week  in advance and on the day. I regret it!  I shouldn’t have done it. Unfortunately no money back. I guess I can try the gym for some body weight training but don’t know how it works! Thank you for your feedback
    • Yes, probably, but I do like the one I have.
    • @Jellybeanz In response you know nothing about me I will not list all the charities I support (with regular donations) I simply feel there are ample inexpensive opportunities for small buisnesses to advertise their services.
    • @angehouse  I've found the same issue..its been the same for over 2 years now...every class I want to attend has a waitlist even 10days in advance and then a few hours before spaces magically become available by which point I've made other plans or do'nt have my gym stuff to hand and I'm not in the area (I don'nt lead a life where I can just sit at home and amble down to the gym as and when..theres only a few classes I can get to on my days off work) Its very very annoying. I'm sure its the same people that book well in advance then cancel..if only they could monitor the people who do this repeatedly and bar them from advance bookings for 6 weeks or something to teach them a lesson. For this reason I have'nt been to any classes at the gym for well over a year and just use the gym. Its frustrating.
