Ondine
Has everyone tried this word game on freerice.com? Please do and please please let me know if you can hit level 50. I can get to 49 with a lot of effort but 50 is elusive. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1924-freerice/ Share on other sites

Peckhamgatecrasher
Got to 47 then dropped and stayed on 45 for so long I got frustrated. Will not be beaten - watch this space. Peckhamgatecrasher
Clare - shame on you. There's no fun and no point if one uses a dictionary. Simon M is obviously just a clever old bod. clare
(But doesn't he support Sheffield Utd ?)I'm in awe of any one who could get to 50 without a dictionary. We had a go last night and were defeated by 45 . (My dad was a latin teacher so I like to think I'm good with words...I obviously aren't.....I'm off to have another go right now !}Well done SimonM is what I really meant to say.P S My dad would also have corrected my grammar in the above sentence. SimonM
>>(But doesn't he support Sheffield Utd ?)<< (6)No I did *not* use a dictionary! :)) I guess we Blades supporters are just that shade more literate...Seriously I was just persistent and got lucky with a string of familiar-looking words plus inspired guesses. (I knew that Latin A-Level (failed) would come in handy one day... ) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1924-freerice/#findComment-55164 Share on other sites
Peckhamgatecrasher
As a Millwall supporter I can categorically state that the quality of one's team has no reflection on the ol' grey cells.
