Stereo MC?s and Rodney P play FREE festival in Crystal Palace Park on 16 June 2018


Acts for this year?s FREE Crystal Palace Festival on 16 June in Crystal Palace Park include: Stereo MC?s, Strong Asian Mothers, Rodney P & Skitz, Fowokan, Polarbear, Croydon SDA Gospel Choir and much much more.


There?s a packed programme of music, spoken word, theatre, visual arts, kids activities, and great food and drink. Get the full programme on the festival website at crystalpalacefestival.org.


New for 2018 ? the Village Green with a Bandstand, Dog Show, charity and community stalls, the Farmers? Market and Craft beer bar and a dance tent headlined by Metamono to indulge lovers of electronic music.


The festival organisers are very much looking forward to returning with a much improved site after a really busy 2017 event when 28,500 vistiors came to Crystal Palace Park.


The festival will also take place all around the Crystal Palace area on 11?17 June 2018 with a week long programme of guest events organised by the local community.

    • I’ve told the council (twice), our Dulwich Hill councillor, and Thames Water (twice).
    • How can a supermarket "run out of gas"? Was that a joke? The Metro article is referring to the central gas supply, surely? Which hasn't actually run out yet.   I said "local" press. And the reason would be that the bad publicity might push Sainsbury's head office to improve what sound like presently appalling conditions for their DKH staff to work in. Yes of course there are terrible things happening all over the world. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't try to change things which we might be able to have an immediate impact on locally.
    • What good would it do reporting it to the press? If one thinks it is a major issue, just for a moment, think about the hardship in cities in Ukraine where residents  are lucky to get one hour of electricity a day and where water is not being pumped to residential blocks.
