Just in process of doing up the house ! Can anyone recommend some good window people ? We'd like to change from plastic to wooden windows ! Thanks for any reccomendations !

Used them for a complete window and separate 'sashes'. A sash is the opening window, a box sash is when the window slides down in a box. Don't get me started!

Go for hard wood - my pine ones need repainting every couple of years, the hard wood one has been painted once in nine years.
