Peckham Rye Stay And Play - open?

Does anybody know if the peckham Rye stay and play is on at the moment or are they still undergoing refurbishment? Was wanting to go along tomorrow (tues) but can?t find any up to date info anywhere.

Hi Emlford

The whole building has been demolished as part of the redevelopment of Peckham Rye park. Not sure where the new playgroup will be located but think it will be a while before this is in place.

Hi emlford,

the old Peckham Rye Stay and Play building has been demolished, it was an upgraded PoW hut and not fit for purpose. There is a fantastic new playground being built on the site of the old club. A new Stay and Play facility has been built next to the adventure playground. This is due to be open very soon! Have you thought of going along to the Children's Centres at Ivydale or Rye Oak Schools? There is some information here: http://www.ivydale.southwark.sch.uk/childrens-centre/
