Cocktail bitters workshop

Recommended Posts

Wanna pimp up your drinks? Come and learn how! The BATCH team are going to supply us with a cocktail too, and their drinks are top notch!

Online ticket sales only: https://www.designmynight.com/london/bars/peckham/batch/learn-about-and-make-your-own-cocktail-bitters

Come along and learn about the ancient origins of bitters and the journey from medicinal potions to modern cocktail staples.

We'll kick off with a cocktail from the amazing mixologists at BATCH and then we will take you through the process of making your own bitters (all ingredients and equipment provided).

There will be bitters to sample along the way, and a variety of flavour combinations to choose from - so you will end up with your own bespoke bottle to take home. You can pick one of these great flavours:

Ancho Chilli & Lime

Spiced Orange

or

Earl Grey & Lemon

If you're a cocktail connoisseur or an enthusiastic amateur - we look forward to seeing you there!

Hi there! You can use bitters in any of your favourite mixed drinks, they are there to add flavour and depth so you can experiment away! Old Fashioned, Dark and Stormy or Pink Gin are all good places to start. At the workshop we will cover some more classic drinks you can make using bitters, and we'll have a variety of flavours to choose from, depending on your taste. Hope to see you there!

    • That is SO naff!! I never go there but still.... It almost makes me want to turn up dressed like 'Honey G' in full on shell suit look accesorised  with a hard hat and a pair of paint spattered workboots just in order for this to 'sedate' 65year old to tell them they need to get a grip or move to Orpington when they tell me I'm not 'suitably attired' and therefore cannot enter their establishment.
    • I'm looking for a used kitchen drawer unit with 3 or 4 drawers. Can be  50mm or 60cm wide.
