City were just very, very poor.

Big mistake from Mancini was to replace injured Santa Cruz with Robinho and not Benjani after what, ten minutes. No focus and the whole team's heads dropped.

Having said that he then took Robinho off, not a happy bunny. Anyone want a shop soiled show pony?

edit> should have said Everton were excellent from the off, all over City. Massive missed opportunity for City with Spurs and Liverpool results, play like that against the RAGS on Tuesday, kids or not, and we'll get hammered.

First I've heard of it but you only have to look at his body language to see his sense of frustration at recent events at Anfield. They rely on his him and Torres too much.

I'm pretty damned frustrated myself at the Spurs result yesterday but having watched it on Match Of The Day you have to applaud the Hull goalkeeper Boaz Myhill who had an absolute blinder. Still in fourth (just).

Reckon those 3 points might be a little harder with our Africans back - would not be surprised to lose though.

I hope they don't start on Tuesday! Our defence against Burnley seemed non existant.

Disappointing result yesterday for Liverpool as they played well enough considering the line up and tactics imposed on them by Rafa Benitez. I see Ian St John has slammed Rafa's tactics as boring and diabolical - and quite frankly it is impossible to disagree.

As each day passes the morale, loyalty and enthusiasm of key players like Pepe Reina, Mascherano, Torres and Gerrard will be beaten out of them so badly they will move closer to the exit door regardless of who is the next Manager. It happened under Houllier with Owen and Gerrard and history has a nasty habit of repeating itself.

Liverpool game yesterday was shocking, one of the owrst games I've had the misfortune to watch, partly down to the tatics employed by Benitez and the awful (non existent) quality of Stoke.

Spuds dropping points at home eh? Better wtch out boys, Everton are sneaking up on you for fourth spot and the way their playing at the moment they deserve it.

How good is Moyes as a manager. I wonder whata he would/could have achieved if he had the funds that Fergie, the Chavs, and Citeh have at their disposal. He is the only manager is the prem other than Le Boss that I admire.

Danny Murphy sticks the knife into the Rafa regime - http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11669_5866564,00.html

"I keep in touch with a lot of people close to the club and many think the time has come for a new manager" ... now bear in mind the only people from his time still at the Club are the Captain and Vice-Captain, Gerrard and Carragher, that pretty much says he has lost the dressing room.

That goalkeeper was a clown.

Very happy with that dull point - now a bit more off the bottom with by far the best goal difference down there and most of the bottom teams still to play at home. I also hope that Capello is considering Parker for England and Milner should be going for sure. All in all a poor weekend for the pretenders at the top just Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal in it.

Finally a special thanks (not) to the Spuds - drawing at home to Hull at home after their losing to Wolves...cheers for your help :X

What an abysmal performance by City, Everton were fantastic and thoroughly deserved to win although some of Marriners decisions were poor. We need to really step up on Tuesday when we meet our wonderful neighbours ! (Sandperson, I'm not laughing now ! Coming down on Tuesday?)

Ruffers- PM me please- We are meeting at The City Pride Farringdon on Tuesday if you fancy watching with fellow Citizens!
