Mick Mac
Peter Lawwell wants football fans to be treated like 21st century citizens with the right to drink alcohol. Rugby fans are allowed a pint in Scotland while Hampden does a roaring trade selling booze at open air concerts. English clubs are allowed to sell drink to their fans while Scottish supporters are treated as untrustworthy. Otta
I remember going to the MCG in 2006 and they only sell this low alcohol lager because someone was killed there once by a bottle thrown by a drunk bloke. It wasn't worth drinking, so we didn't bother after the first one. That's not what a day at the cricket should be like! Otta
Bit surprised there will be no appeal against the Suarez ban. Apparently the club left it up to him, and he's decided to accept it. Suppose he just feels there's no point trying, and it could even lead to a bigger ban.I still think 10 matches is ridiculous, but there you go.That's Liverpool buggered for the start of next season.
