I love fantasy football me :) (Magpies were terrible though)

Table has a strange look to it...

6 West Ham

7 Tottenham

8 Arsenal

This weeks movers and groovers...

DR - 4 Correct Results + 2 Correct Scores = 10 pts

?? - 3 Correct Results + 2 Correct Scores = 9 pts

LG - 5 Correct Results + 1 Correct Score = 8 pts

OT - 5 Correct Results + 1 Correct Score = 8 pts

RD - 2 Correct Results + 2 Correct Scores = 8 pts

EP - 1 Correct Result + 1 Correct Scores = 7 pts

JL - 3 Correct Results + 1 Correct Score = 6 pts

SC - 3 Correct Results + 1 Correct Score = 6 pts

MM - 5 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 5 pts

RC - Plays a Maxxi = 5 pts

PD - 4 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 4 pts

AM - 3 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 3 pts

Mx - 3 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 3 pts

Table wise, as you were, except for Mick overtaking Meds...

No sure that holds water. What if some daft supporters decided to call themselves Hitlers barmy army, for whatever perverse reason, would you be ok with that?

He's probably been warned to try and stay out of trouble because if he gets another booking he has to miss the next match. I know the other players were celebrating with Carra for his assist, but it was still a bit odd that none of them celebrated with Suarez in front of the fans...

Your protest has been duly noted Meds.

Anyone with less than 75% (shown in indigo) wouldn't qualify for CL and final table consideration

The only table that counts is the final one, and places will be adjusted then to take into account the 75% rule. By then I hope that everyone will have caught up and there will be no need for the rule to be implemented...

Fair point from the chairman though

"Suppose we had tried to sweep this under the rug and said to the various players, 'Look, it's not a big deal and the press are going to be all over us, maybe you want to reconsider'. If that had leaked out, we would've really been crucified."

Isn't it a Chelsea problem that "various players" call the shots there?

I know he denies that but please. Chairmen go around believing everything their players say? If there was a scintilla of chance clattenburg said anything then fair enough. But it's so incredible that yeah i would say to the players "we sleep on it and if we still are certain he said it we take action"

But a highly emotive dressing room, after a highly charged game where decisions went against them? They were bullying that ref, end of.

Peter Herbert now accusing Chelsea / The FA of a big cover up.

"We strongly suspect that the FA and/or Chelsea have failed to provide this information to the Metropolitan Police in order for them to conduct a proper investigation," The information we had is that there are 'no victims'. Well, if there are no victims, what on earth has been referred to the FA in the first place?

"What on earth are the FA and Chelsea playing at then? Are they having some cosy exchange of statements between themselves and not giving it to the police?"

The fact is Pete, that you jumped straight in and alerted the police to this "incident" without a shred of evidence that it wasn't a complete fabrication, and now you're feeling a little bit silly.

Surely it's a matter of time before the Society of Black Lawyers have a word with this bloke and tell him to shut up. If I was a black lawer I think I'd be cringing at this bloke representing me!

Hopefully not. I think its now a case of how best Chelsea can extract themselves without more egg on their faces. Its probably a case of presenting it as these accusations having to be properly looked into through the correct channels etc.

    • But they were going to cut down a tree that had no notice on it ? Either way thank goodness people intervened. My total lack of confidence in Southwark tree dept is justified it would seem…
    • Hopefully the confusion won’t lead to injury.
    • To clarify a few points- I didn't just happen to be passing, I saw the workmen setting up equipment worryingly close to the tree from my front window, so put my shoes on and headed over there as quickly as possible just in case. Unfortunately they had already lopped a few branches off in the two minutes it took me to get there. Although I didn't see them attach a notice, the wording on the notice pictured above has the same terminology that they used with me - fungal brackets - so presumably it was them. I have no idea who removed the sign, or why. Also worth mentioning that they were third party contractors, carrying out work orders from the council. I'm a bit confused by the 'mistaken tree' comments, as Councillor Renata Hamvas posted on a Facebook thread that she had raised the issue with the relevant council officers, and that the response she received is that the tree does have a fungal infection. So there seems to be conflicting info there, and I'm concerned that the tree is still in danger.
    • To be fair, do we know who put the notice on the wrong tree? The people wielding chainsaws almost certainly won't be the experts  who identify  the problems with the trees? They just go along and hack down what they're told to hack down? I might be wrong, but whilst actual tree surgery needs expertise, I wouldn't have thought hacking down a whole tree did? Apart from knowing how to use a chainsaw, obviously.
