Only yesterday I was reading about Stan Collymore and his bouts of depression. Seems he Tweeted a lot about it in the last few days. I sometimes hear him on the radio and as a pundit I quite like him but I would never have guessed he had such a dark side.

No idea if Gary Speed had similar problems. Just seems such a shame to take your own life.

The death of a truly great professional overshadows all of the football played over the weekend. Couldn't careless about the results. By all accounts a nicer human being you could not meet, and a truly disciplined professional which is why he managed to play at such a high level for so long. R.I.P. Gary Speed, condolences to his family.
I thought the Leeds fans were as maginificent as the Chelsea fans, or a section of them any way, were despicable. To sing about the death of fans at Hillsborough was deplorable. I have a work colleague who is a Chelsea fan who went to the game and is ashamed of her association with the club because of them.

Yes the Arsenal reserves certainly gave your ?120 millions worth of signings a run for their money. I only realised Na$ri was on the pitch when the boos were ringing out when he touched the ball, otherwise he was anonymous. What agood buy he's turned out to be. As for out singing, are you sure, you only started to sing when you scored. Please don't start doing a Man Ure on us.

Well done Palace, thoroughly deserved win.

Well I was at White Hart Lane last night and although we mostly had our kids out I was still disappointed with the result. I could say the Europa League is a hindrance to the bread and butter of the Premiership but I want to win every game whether it's the Europa League or Carling Cup. Any competition is worth winning. Too many clubs are more interested in finishing in the first four of the Premiership to get in to the Champions League than actually winning anything because of the money that can be earned for the club. Ask yourselves - would you rather finish 4th in the league or win something? I know what my answer is. Football is about the glory, about winning something. Trophies in the cabinet and winning medals.
Following, supporting a club, being a fan, call it what you will, is not JUST about glory, winning titles etc. If that were true, most of us wouldn't bother. Your team is with you for life, through thick and thin. Of COURSE its nice to win title, and of course its nice to win trophies, but would anyone of you EDFers really walk away from your beloved team during fallow periods? I can't believe you would.

    • Yes, presumably, in terms of using some of the space for non Post Office things, as other sub post offices do. But as a sub office I doubt that they will be able to cherry pick what Post Office services they offer. My understanding is that there are only a few things which Crown offices presently do but sub offices don't (like passports).
    • I bought mine online couple of years ago from arnold Clark. They had send me few videos and I think you have at least 1 year warranty. It was serviced by them as well for few years . When I went for service here the mechanic told me that the car is in a great shape with lots new parts and a very good buy.  It was a very strange experience as it was brought from Scotland and it was click and collect type of purchase. Never had I thought I would be buying a second hand car like that. You pay small holding fee I think I paid something like 50-100£ for transport to London and you have few locations to choose from.
    • It was a better world where 15 year olds could get away with buying alcohol in pubs.  They can still get hold of the stuff but better drinking in a pub with some adult supervision IE bar staff than in the park after dark
    • Does anyone know of a trusted local conveyancing lawyer they'd recommend? Thanks!
