Alan Medic
Fergie is going soft. He didn't want United to score any more. Good day for United but we conceded two soft goals. No room for complacency in this league. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/347/#findComment-489465 Share on other sites

Undisputedtruth
And to think that Man U had played three young defenders, a young midfielder and a young striker and goalkeeper against Arsenal sends a real message of intent to the rest of the premiership. StraferJack
people talk about underinvestment, youth, tactics, and all manner of factors being the problem at ArsenalI blame that horrid away strip Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/347/#findComment-489476 Share on other sites
Jah Lush
Hmmmm... a very bad day for North London and great one for Manchester. For me the thrashing of Arsenal made up for Tottenham's abysmal display against Man City earlier in the day. Undisputedtruth
Arsenal needs a defensive coach like Don Howe. Watching the game yesterday, it seems Arsenal gave Man U too much time and space. At that level you're going to get punish and boy Arsenal got punished. Arsenal needs to learn to defend as a unit. Alan Medic
Dead right Laddy. I was wondering what it reminded me of but it didn't come to mind. Nice to read that Rooney offered the pen to Giggs. I guess because up to this point Giggs has scored at least one goal in every Premiership season and hasn't got one this season yet. Otta
As I've just said on FB, Generally pleased withLiverpool summer transfers, until the lastday. Gutted Meireles has gone, and not toosure about Bellamy's return (definitelyquality, but too much history of acting like atwat). All in all a better team now than at the endif last season though. maxxi
Arsenal fans always put their team first, but if they want to avenge last Saturday they may have a long time 2-8. red devil
Arsenal - reeked of panic buying, overall quality of squad has gone down a lot since end of last season.Chelski - including last Jan transfer window they are the biggest spenders this year I believe...Meireles a good buy.L'pool - agree with Otta's earlier post, good pre-season deals but Bellamy isn't a good swap for Meireles.Citeh - good luck to Hargo, but I would be amazed if he came back to his best. Utd - Sneijder would have been amazing, but ?35 million would've been way too much for a 28yo...watch out though for Utd's other midfield youngsters, Pogba and Morrison...if he can stay out of jail!Spurs - Parker was the best buy yesterday value wise, felt sorry for Crouch, seemed he was pushed out to make way for Adebayor, I know which one of them I would want to rely on. Pleased that they managed to hold onto Modric, maybe he will stop sulking and get his hair cut!West Ham - had no choice other than to let Parker go, should still be strong enough to go up.
