Ahem! Gattuso had earlier grabbed and pushed Joe Jordan by the throat during the second half and after the headbutt his antics carried on in the tunnel after the game and he had to be restrained by team-mates. I stand by my view that his ban was lenient.

Re: the Blackpool result. Yup! Typical Spurs. Winners at the San Siro one week and losers at Bloomfield Road the next. I could make the excuse that we only had four fit defenders and several other players out but I won't bother and then as KPC has pointed out there is Bassong. We've proven in the past that we have the squad to cope but we defended very poorly and missed a hat full of chances. Not good enough.

Missing the chances seemed to be the bigger problem, something like 25.

Spurs' inconsistancy is reminding me of Liverpol. It's the reason teams like Untited win lots of things, because they grind out result after result, even when they're not playing great. Liverpool just never seemed to be able to do that.

We won ugly last night, but given the opposition were Stoke, thats not surprising. I hope RVP didn't play purely as a precaution against being injured and therefor out for Sunday. However, the more immediate concern is El Capitan and Theo, who is definitely out for Wembley on Sunday and more worryingly Barca. I'm hoping Cesc was withdrawn to prevent the injury getting worse. I hope he's available for Sunday.

Only strain here is having to read drivel posted by plums like you. Unlike Celtic, we play decent teams week in week out, and not just Rangers. Now jog on.

Most clubs in the prem are decent sides, the SPL, on the other hand, has 2 or 3 at best.

I followed up with an email to give him more time to get an answer but still no reply. Will post on here when I get one. It might help to email the licensing team at Southwark as well as take the survey.
