Hang on a second BR. I was enjoying that one-eyed piece of proaganda until the last couple of sentences...

And if, after 35 years without a trophy, after several relegations, dozens of managers and a handful of owners, you still get full houses at Anfield then, and only then, will you be as good as Manchester City's fans.

They really are the best in the world because they are still there.'

Hold the phone! Your stadium wasn't even full over Christmas when we played (and beat) you.

I've seen Main Road, COMS or Eastland half full too many times to be able to buy into the fact you have the most amazing, loyal fans.

People say Toon fans are some of the "best", and they've definitely been through it of late.

Anna I don't think anyone is trying to have a pop at you. "Liverpool fanS" doesn't = Anna. Sorry if you've taken anything I've said personally, I know how much you support the team and all that. I have my opinions, but at the end of the day, don't really take the whole thing that seriously, and I have felt sorry for Woy, maybe because I'm just soft.

Anyway, apparently he's safe FOR NOW, but there is no way he's going to be there for long, unless he performs some sort of miracle, so here's hoping the next manager can be someone everyone is pleased with. OR, they'll be just as bad, and everyone will start giving the players their fair share of the blame (and that is not to say that Woy is blameless).

Only just seen this. Ta for the offer, but I've my sensible head on tonight and I'm staying in.

Except Kenny is refusing to play ball holding out for a pre-nup signing with a "top foreign club". Or failing that, Bursaspor.

    • Happy to recommend Greg. He replaced an electric shower for us, at the reasonable price agreed, with minimum fuss and no mess
    • It is hard to believe this was not considered well in advance, either by the council or by GALA. Cllr Catherine Rose is adamant she wants to monetise parks, so this is a way to justify changing the event footprint  and creates precedent for yet more changes and park event creep.
    • Those fences are around the newly created bunds. I'm assuming to protect the new planting? I know Gala said on Wednesday meeting they had to put their fences around the bunds to ensure they were not damaged,  apparently wild flowers have been planted there. The flood alleviation works was to protect houses from flooding not the park,  that area of the park always floods as lowest part with river Peck underneath.  It will be interesting to see how Gala manage if we have heavy rain in May!
    • Apart from being yet another eyesore in our lovely park the track is going to be 5 metres wide, that’s wider than my living room! By the time this is installed it will be too late for people to object. This must be rethought, even more of our park is being given over to GALA. The council didn’t factor in HGV access when they planned the flood alleviation works and now they expect park goers to suffer further. Complaints might help, worth a try but needs to be before the consultation ends on Feb 10th
