Jah Lush
I couldn't make the trip up to Eastlands for the match tonight but I know there are plenty of Spurs fans going to the game so it should make for a very noisy atmosphere. I'll be in the pub watching it with a few friends. Come on you Spurs! Mick Mac
Losing bets are not mistakes. They are just evidence that somewhere along the line someone/thing did not perform to the required standard. Jah Lush
Only Arsenal (19 times) have beaten Man City on more occasions than Spurs (18 times) in the Premier League era. Fact!Spurs have won away at City more often than any other club in the Premier League era - 8 times in 12 games. Fact!I just hope that doesn't count for nothing. Come on you Spurs! ruffers
Spurs are our bogey team and no bleedin' mistake FACT... but... but... I keep having these fits of hope. And Spurs are away let's not forget. And Spurs are shocking away this season. Is King playing? Jah Lush
I bloody hope he is.Also, I've been reading that Peter Crouch could be plouging a lone furrow up front. I don't agree with such negative tactics. It's not the Spurs way. We should just play our normal game and go for the jugular and hopefully come away with all three points. I'd settle for one though. Three would be the icing on the cake. red devil
Spurs should definitely go for the win, and make sure Bale is forward of Assou-Ekotto...Harry bottled it at OT by dropping Bale back to LB and switching lefty Assou-Ekotto over to right back, both had a 'mare...Fergie was obviously worried by Bale when he played the pacier Rafael instead of Nev... ruffers
If he's scared of pacy wingers we might have a chance then.Similar thoughts re City and defensiveness. Barry being injured Saturday was good, meant he couldn't play the three in central midfield (Barry, de Jong, and Viera), de Jong and Viera worked well as a two with Johnson and Bellamy. Just wish the two wingers would swap from time to time to hit the byline. red devil
'arry obviously reads the EDF...Spurs definitely going for the jugular, Lennon starts, Bale up front, King playing consecutive games and Mancini is playing 4 in midfield to keep Ruffers happy...enjoy the match chaps! SimonM
Spurs did look marvellous in the 2nd half.....but honestly they were helped by a non-existent City defence!
