It made a change to be at a Palace game on the last day of the season and have nothing riding on it. Hopefully the football will be better next year, but no worries about the atmosphere and should be great v West Ham. It will certainly be friendlier than the Millwall game, do you plan to visit there as well? mockney piers
I've been there with my Norwich mate, but will give the WH game a miss, not worth the aggro, in this case quite literally.I actually quite like selhurst park, go there with my Norwich and my Wednesday mates most seasons, but the footie's usually pretty poor (from all sides). Though in fairness with a young mocklet I haven't been this season and am willing to believe in improvements in football and atmosphere (they usually go hand in hand).I look forward to the game between us next season, especially as we'll be filling an otter full of beer too. maxxi
Half time and Adrian Chiles insists the match is "Absorbing!" Yeah, like kitchen roll. Dull, dull, dull. mockney piers
First half was tentative, really enjoying this half though. City should have buried the game but seem to have forgotten how to kick a ball at the goal without introducing a comedy twist. Mick Mac
Congrats to Alex Ferguson on MU title number 19. Surely now the most successful manager ever in English football. Not a MU fan but you have to admire success like that. Alan Medic
Any chance Kilmarknock might make the SPL interesting today? They've already lost 5 times this season to Rangers. Given that run I suppose statistically its creeping ever closer to a non Rangers win result! I really thought Celtic where the better team in Scotland this year. What went wrong? SCSB79
Celtic the better team? Peckhamgatecrasher
Good start. Not sure if that settles the nerves or makes them worse.Edited - in the time it took me to find this thread and type the above, another two have been scored. I guess I'll go for settled nerves and a smug face.
